Jonathan_Baker

Jonathan is an environmental scientist who joined CEP in 2010 having completed his MSc in Environmental Technology (Environmental Analysis and Assessment) at Imperial College London. His thesis considered the incorporation of ecosystem services into Strategic Environmental Assessment practice. The science and use of ecosystem services and green infrastructure within UK and European policy has been a focus of his work since joining CEP. Prior to his masters he completed an honours degree in Environmental Science and worked in performance and estates management for the UK's largest ship repair firm. In addition, Jonathan has also worked with Friends of the Earth (Hong Kong) on projects aimed at building capacity with Chinese graduates as well as having undertaken an internship at the Institute of European Environmental Policy (IEEP) during his MSc. He is also an associate of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment
