Regulatory impact assessment and ex post environmental evaluation
CEP has considerable experience in regulatory impact assessment and ex post evaluation. We have worked with European and UK regulatory authorities, as well as other organisations, to assess the impact of their policies and regulatory proposals, and to evaluate the effectiveness of the policies once implemented. This has included environmental, economic and social impacts. We have particular experience in the assessment of proposed revisions to EU Directives and options for the implementation of EU Directives at Member State level. We also have experience of the ex post evaluation of the environmental and climate change implications of EU funding programmes.
