Spatial Planning

Promoting sustainable development by adopting an integrated and participatory approach to environmental planning and management.  This includes undertaking strategic planning studies and research into issues such as climate change, strategic land use planning, regeneration initiatives and sustainable construction.

We have particular experience in the fields of river catchment planning, developing and implementing holistic approaches to sustainable river catchment planning and management, and in state of the environment reporting - developing smart environmental and sustainability indicators, identifying appropriate baseline data, compiling state of the environment reports at a regional, national and European level, devising monitoring programmes and auditing appraisal procedures.
