Rebecca Jones, Consultant

Rebecca, Consultant at CEP, has a background in biological sciences and recently completed an MSc in Environmental Technology at Imperial College London, specialising in Global Environmental Change and Policy. There she focused on developing a multidisciplinary approach to environmental problem solving through gaining experience of environmental law, policy, economics, ecology and management.

She has strong quantitative and qualitative research and analytical skills and has experience of undertaking research and analysis on topics including food security and sustainable agriculture, plastic pollution, and climate justice. Her master’s thesis explored the role of philanthropy in the environmental governance of ocean plastic pollution. She also has previous experience of environmental campaigning.

Rebecca is working on a number of projects for CEP, including FORENV - the new EU foresight system to detect emerging environmental issues; and Our Bright Future.
